British Expats in Life Sciences

October 8, 2003 – London Life Sciences Update

Agenda

London Technology Network-
Current Life Science Activities in London

As well as the customary opportunity to meet with your fellow Brits in the life sciences, we will hear a presentation by Peter Wolstenholme of the London Technology Network (LTN) that will include a timely overview of the life sciences scene in London and various strengths found in the metropolis.

The LTN is a UK government-funded initiative that aims to improve profitability and efficiency of business by creating links between industry and London-based academia, particularly in the area of knowledge acquisition. LTN Technology consultants advise how, why and where industry can benefit from a range of mechanisms to link with this rich scientific base.

Peter Wolstenholme has spent many years working with academia and industry, with a wealth of experience as an entrepreneur and business manager. He started several life science companies in both the UK and the US, and has served as a board member of UK, US and Netherland companies.
